So cool! My kids and I were making fortune tellers and then started on paper airplanes. I remembered when I was a kid, really liking a paper helicopter project so I wracked my brain, and peeked online, and put together some fun helicopter templates (free download) on my site. There are 2 designs, both available in either PDF or GIF format. They require just a printer, scissors, and (one of the two designs requires) a paperclip or two.
My kids have been helping me "field test" them for about a week now. They're great fun, and even educational. We've been experimenting with different weights of paper, and varying the size and amount of paper-clips, and seeing the affect on flight.
